What People Are Saying About Naturepedic Mattress
There are gazilions of people out there purchasing bed mattress and many choose Naturepedic. They think: “if a brand name has so many awards and certifications, it needs to be for something.” That makes good sense, right?
Here you are a few of their reviews and remarks:
![]() LOVE this mattress for our son's first big boy bed I shopped a long time for the right mattress to move my son out of his crib. We sleep on Vispring and I was toying with spending a small fortune to get him a miniature version of our bed, but ultimately decided that it was way too much for a little kid who may not be totally night trained yet. I was delighted to discover this mattress as an alternative. By no means inexpensive, but it was exactly what we were looking for: all-natural materials, no foam, no latex, no dyes, etc. I just wanted a plain, natural mattress, but one that had good support and comfort. My son is gigantic for his age-- he's often mistaken for a child two years older, so he needed a bit more support than a typical toddler and I wanted something that could continue to support him into adolescence. I chose the Chorus over the Verse for that reason. It came on-time, was well-packaged, easy to unpack. The kids thought it was quite fun to watch it expand. There was an odor that dissipated by day two. Not sure what it was, but I imagine that even organic materials still smell like something. His first night in the bed went great. He was excited to climb in at bedtime and slept great all night. You can't ask for more than that! |
![]() My husband and I have always slept on a regular old school spring mattress and we were in desperate need for a new one. We went with a memory foam and spring hybrid at first but it was causing so much back pain for both of us and we were sweating profusely at night. Also, my husband is a stomach sleeper and so it was too soft for him but too firm for me (back sleeper). Within 6 months there were huge depressions where we slept at night. I returned that mattress and ordered a different latex mattress that is getting some hype now but the wait time for shipping kept increasing (3 months before shipping—ridiculous) so I cancelled that and pulled the trigger on this Naturepedic mattress which shipped in less than a week. I will never look back. The latex provides good cushion and helps us stay cool at night. The springs provide the exact amount of firmness that's perfect for any position sleeping. I lay down at night and close my eyes and wake up in the exact same position I went to sleep in. No tossing and turning at all. My husband definitely had a hard time with the price of this mattress but now that we've slept on it for a few months, we'll never own another kind of mattress. It's worth the price. There are a few cheaper options but you definitely get what you pay for. The quality of the Naturepedic mattress is very apparent and I feel great about the longevity of it. The excellent customer service of this company is also a bonus. |
![]() Save time and buy a Naturepedic EOS. I say that because I went cheap and initially purchased a "BED IN A BOX". You know, those polyurethane memory foam beds that ship in one small box. I went with a Tuft and Needle. Worst decision of my life. Was I being cheap? Maybe, but it was a simple solution as well. You always get what you pay for. No question about it. The Tuft and Needle slept hard and hot. Plus it was giving me headaches. Thankfully I returned it before the 120 day trial was over. My girlfriend and I then did a ton of research to find another bed. Well, she did the research mostly. LOL. I just knew we couldn't do another memory foam mattress for health reasons alone. Thankfully my girlfriend follows Dr. Axe. We took his recommendation and found a Naturepedic bed shop. We tried a ton of beds but eventually went with the Cal King EOS. It took a bit of time to arrive at my house, but it was right around Thanksgiving so I can't complain much about shipping. We've had the bed for about 2 weeks now. Best sleep we've ever had. We're not waking up hot throughout the night. We aren't waking up with numb shoulders. We aren't waking up with headaches or lung problems. Life's a bunch better now. I'm way more alive during the day. Thank you Naturepedic! (We're side sleepers mostly. We purchased plush soft spring and plush soft latex) |
![]() Stellar product and customer service Brian and Lilliana were wonderful to work with at the showroom. No sales pressure at all, just introduced us to the different materials and how their mattresses are designed, we went around the showroom and laid on all the beds (there's about 10 on the floor) and then we were left politely alone to mull it over. And they were knowledgeable and patient with us as we had to come back into the store another day to try additional options for our mattress after the first few nights weren't super comfortable and went above and beyond accommodating us with layer swaps during COVID and making sure we ended up with exactly what we wanted. Absolutely stellar customer service! I'd give 10 stars if I could. We ended up settling on a queen EOS pillow top, both sides 'plush coils/soft latex/soft latex', which is as soft as this arrangement could get. For reference my partner and I are 5'5" and 130 lbs and 5'10" and 150 lbs. And even this arrangement would probably feel somewhat firm when compared to traditional or memory foam mattresses – seems to be inherent in latex material. Don't be surprised if you end up loving something softer than you think is 'what you like'. The bed is wonderful though. Comfortable and supportive. Very easy to put together, the amount of packaging is impressive but we found somewhere to recycle the plastic. No chemical smells, but the materials do have a scent – kind of a natural wooly earthy smell. I think it'll fade in time, but it's not intrusive. It's great to have an organic mattress, that's one less thing in the house contributing to the toxic load. Thanks Naturepedic! |
![]() My husband and I love this mattress so much! When we first purchased it we went a little too firm. Customer service was great and talked us through exchanging the layers so we could get exactly the right fit for us. You can't even tell it's split. My husband said he feels like the mattress is giving something back. And no smelly off-gassing of chemicals. |
